Karen Zuckerman

I am constantly amazed at the wonders of the human body, the physical and emotional benefits of receiving bodywork and how rewarding it is to give it.

I love teaching people alternative and complementary ways of taking care of themselves, of playing a larger role in their own wellness. I love connecting with people on a personal level and fostering connections between those in my world. I love helping people feel better.

I received a life-shifting education at the Swedish Institute in New York City, and have continued to learn various modalities and techniques from some phenomenal teachers.

Studying under Sue Hitzmann, I became one of the first certified MELT Method instructors, teaching both private sessions and group classes.

From studying with Liz Koch and her Core Awareness work, I have created the Fluid Core classes and private sessions.

I am currently studying and integrating the profound work of Visceral Manipulation through the Barral Institute with Ken Frey.

I believe in playing a starring role in one’s own wellness. I believe health is not just the absence of disease. I believe in the power of human touch. I believe in approaching all aspects of health in a variety of ways – bodywork, energy work, food-as-medicine, movement, community, art and music. I believe in filling your well.
